A Sheraton Kitchen Dream Come True

Sheraton Kitchens

A recent survey of Ramsbottom contacts has recently revealed the perhaps unsurprising fact that the kitchen is the main hub of the home – with over 60% of people surveyed by Ramsbottom Kitchens telling us this is where their family eats. However, with the average age of a kitchen at 11 years, it stands to reason that there are plenty of kitchens out there that could do with a little updating. As part of a study on kitchen users habits, here at Ramsbottom kitchens, we were interested to find out what motivates people to change their kitchen design and what’s important to them.

Space is vital in modern kitchen design

Looking around your kitchen right now, what would you love to change? Over 55% of people told us they would love more space and with our space saving ideas built into all our kitchens, this is something we can definitely help with. If it is a change of style or colour, then our wide range of styles from shaker to traditional or modern will have something to suit everyone’s tastes. The Sheraton range, for example, offers creative designs and innovative features that make every job in the kitchen that little bit easier.

Case Study – What can Ramsbottom Kitchens do for space?

Here you can see how one of our happy customers’ kitchen looked before we created a style and design to suit their needs, focussing on the areas of the kitchen that they were most unhappy with. The area felt too busy and dark for them and they never seemed to have any space in the cupboards. The kitchen below is like many fitted kitchens in Manchester that you will find from high street retailers with styles and designs being limited to their stock. Using an independent kitchen company, however allows you the creative control to produce exactly what you need.

Like many clients (just over 60%), a contemporary finish is the most desirable, so we looked for modern colours to achieve a sense of space in this Sheraton Kitchen. Like many, they also wanted to change their appliances, which is why we installed top quality Neff appliances, including the telescopic cooker hood, complemented by a Franke sink and taps to add that extra stylish finish. However, once the larger decisions are made, we carefully plan the smaller – it really is the accessories that make or break the overall feel. Alongside a Quooker Nordic tap negating the need for space on the worktop for a kettle, in the kitchen below, we have used the Setosa painted blue and ivory cupboards with handle 669. The carcasses are all solid oak from the Lissa range which means this customer will benefit from quality and longevity – they won’t need to upgrade for a long time to come. Sensa plinth lighting gives great light whilst providing a sense of extra space, and the sides are made from Silstoe, which is becoming a more popular option for kitchens (43%) with laminate (3%) falling far behind in our polls.
